5. How do you handle stress?
It’s no secret that everyone experiences stress at work. The interviewer will want to understand how you handle various stressful situations at work and if you can remain productive. Remember to showcase your skills whilst using real-life examples to illustrate your capabilities.
6. Describe a challenging situation at work and how you handled it
This might seem a daunting question, but it is a common one used by interviewers to better understand your mindset. A challenging situation might be difficulties with a customer complaint, being assigned a task you haven’t handled before or struggling with workloads. Remember to be specific in your response and always relay how you handled it and what you learned from it.
7. Why did you leave your previous job?
It might seem easy to bad-mouth your previous workplace, but it is a huge turn-off to prospective employers. Remain respectful in your answer and highlight your desire for growth and progression instead! How has your previous experience with these companies prepared you for the future?
8. Do you have any questions for us?
This is a perfect opportunity to show interest in this company! Prepare thoughtful questions about the company’s goals, team dynamics, or specific role. A little research beforehand will allow you to perfectly adapt your questions to this company, showing initiative and eagerness.
