Production Coordinator

Salary:£28 to £30K DOE

Production Co-Ordinator.

                            

Reports To:                      Machine Shop Supervisor.

                            

Main Purpose:  To plan, allocate and co-ordinate the supply of all     part`s for capital machinery and spares orders.

                                                         

Duties/Responsibilities:             

 

 

  • To ensure production promise dates are monitored and achieve agreed target dates including kitting dates
  • To be responsible for the overall co-ordination and planning of parts as required by the production programme
  • To work closely with operational supervisory staff to ensure part availability co-insides with production activity

 

  • To provide weekly work to list to the machine shop

 

  • to liaise with the Spares Department to agree on lead times

 

  • to control long lead stock parts levels

 

  • Arrange and chair weekly meetings to review production shortages

 

  • Provide monthly management report

 

  • Ensure all production items in the system have a standard cost

 

  • Maintain internal minimum batch sizes and minimum stock levels

 

  • Carry out any other duties requested that are within capabilities.
