The Opportunity:

Due to continued growth and future ambition, their Commercial team require a new Partnership Manager to deliver further growth. As a senior position you will leverage your existing network of contacts to ensure the company exceeds all new business targets.

Some of the key responsibilities for this successful individual would be but no limited to:

  • You will be focused on creating new opportunities via strategic Partnerships, industry engagement, and reputation amongst an existing network.
  • Have an ability to introduce your own network of contacts and immediately impact our future pipeline and growth expectations.
  • Proactively discover new opportunities by utilising new and existing strategic Partnerships.
  • Lead negotiations, coordinate complex decision-making processes and overcome objections to generate and close new revenue through Partner recruitment.
  • Deliver presentations tailored to the specific opportunity.
  • Submit proposals and legally binding agreements with prospective Partners.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records for efficient reporting of sales activities their Kapta Key Account Management software.
  • Create and proactively manage Partner prospect pipeline while focusing time on highest value prospects to ensure sufficient short and long term business objectives
  • Provide monthly report to Head of Partner Growth detailing new opportunities, associated pipeline and barriers faced.
  • Help the organisation understand industry trends, growth opportunities and new product development opportunities by relaying partner needs and buying behaviour.
  • Remain current and knowledgeable on all products, software and services
  • Attend and actively participate in industry events

The Candidate:

The successful Partnership Manager will be/have:

  • Previous ecommerce sales experience.
  • Be able to bring with you a network of contacts to add value.
  • Be commercially orientated and focused on achieving agreed targets with a hunter mentality.
  • Have a keen interest in all industry-related topics to act as an educator in tender processes.
  • Possess a curious nature and the ability to create and explore opportunities wherever they may present themselves.
  • Be able to professionally articulate the products and services in person, via video call, phone, and email. Open internal communication is paramount for this role, as you will be gathering complex requirements and feedback to the business.
  • Comfortable to present with confidence, to varying audiences on differing topics.
