Site Manager

Working for a professional contractor who specialise in Construction within the Rail, Civils sector

Minimum of 5 years construction

Experience in the rail industry

  • At least 2 years in a General Foreman/Site Supervisor/Site Manager role
  • Qualified to a minimum HNC or similar standard within construction site management.
  • Have a working knowledge of construction techqniues
  • Have a working knowledge of NWR standards and procedures
  • CSCS Manager’s Card.
  • SMSTS.
  • PTS

Role Information

  • Responsible for managing Health, Safety and Environmental matters
  • Responsible for ensuring a safe working environmental for all staff
  • Preparation and management of safety documentation WPP/TBRA etc
  • Maintain all site records pertaining to Health, Safety and Environmental information
  • Control and issuing of appropriate permits to work
  • Control and monitoring of competencies on site
  • Liaison with Project Quantity Surveyor on commercial matters
  • Manage labour, plant and materials on site in conjunction with Foreman
  • Prepare time sheets, plant records etc
  • Manage sub-contractors effectively with emphasis on Health & Safety and Quality
