Principal Design Engineer Permanent Ways
Experienced Principal Design Engineer to join our client’s Permanent Way Design team. We are looking for someone is looking to progress their career able to take the initiative on a wide range of Permanent Way (P-Way) projects.
The Principal Permanent Way Design Engineer will be capable of undertaking P Way 3D alignment designs for Feasibility, Concept, Detailed and Construction phases of a design project, including the P way element of multi-disciplinary designs.
The Principal Permanent Way Design Engineer will be responsible for originating alignment designs and for leading, checking and approving designs produced by others. In addition, the Principal Permanent Way Design Engineer will be required to produce, check and approve models, drawings and design reports and associated documentation, and also representing the Discipline Lead at design development and review meetings and workshops.
Experienced MicroStation user and Bentley OpenRail design software
User of other relevant software packages including Clear Route, ProjectWise, SD Calculator
