Salary:£25 to £26k Per annum
Type:Engineering
This is a permanent position working 39 hours per week, 07.30am – 16.15pm Monday to Thursday and 07.30am – 15.15pm on a Friday. Overtime will be required to meet contract deadlines when necessary.
Duties:
• To service marine engines and propulsion systems
• To install mechanical and hydraulic systems
• To test and commission installations, ensuring equipment is operational and satisfactory to all requirements
• To work on all vessel types up to 400 tonnes including RIBS
• All work to be carried out to a high standard
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Must have a marine engineering background with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
• Would be expected to work on MoD sites when required
• Must pass MoD security clearance checks to qualify for a security pass
• Must have a full driving licence
• Must have the ability to work alone and as part of a team
• Knowledge of electrical installations would be an advantage
