Bored of the monotonous day to day of your certification body? Or are you a Design Engineer looking to break into the certification industry? I’m currently working with a certification body that wants to change that. My client is a Certification Body and Test Laboratory specialising in IECEx and ATEX certification schemes.
Over the last 5 years they have developed a culture within the company that is second to none, the business is small, but with aggressive expansion plans over the coming year. As a company they have a significant focus on customer service and professional development. Your typical responsibilities would be:
- Assessment and testing of products designed to international standards (IECEx, ATEX etc.)
- Preparation of technical reports, certificates and quotations.
- Attending technical meetings to advise clients on design.
- Management of multiple projects, including client interaction.
Given that they are a small company, there is a level of flexibility for exact role requirements, but they are looking to bring in either Electrical Certification Engineers or Electrical Design Engineers with experience of the certification process.
